Spartacus 74BC- 71BC General as Cavalry or Blade

Figures are mainly Donningtons, painted by Jim Naughton, with two unknown Romans. Spartacus was a Thracian, so we chose reddish hair, a feature common to the inhabitants of the area. The alternate explanation is that he was a gladiator of the Tracian type. Crixus, a lieutenant of Spartacus, is depicted as the barbarian cavalry figure. Mt. Vesuvius smokes in the background.
